Released in 2008, the film features a rigid, conservative Catholic school principal, Sister Aloysius (Meryl Streep). Aloysius, upon learning the favourable behaviour of the Church’s father towards one boy, accuses him of the worst possible scenarios, despite strong evidence. The latter then gives a fierce and reasonable explanation to face the allegations.
