Imtiaz Ali’s Main Vaapas Aaunga released in theatres on June 12 with positive reviews. While the pre-Partition love story was predicted to end up with a ‘flop’ title, the tables turned, and suddenly, strong word of mouth encouraged people to book tickets and watch it in theatres.
