Ahead of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET-UG) Re-examination 2026, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued a series of advisories regarding reporting timings, mandatory documents, dress code, and permitted and prohibited items. Candidates are advised to carefully review and follow these guidelines to ensure a smooth entry process and avoid any last-minute inconvenience on the day of the examination.

The NTA is ready to conduct the NEET-UG Re-examination 2026 tomorrow, June 21, 2026, from 2 PM to 5:15 PM in pen-and-paper mode at various centres across India and abroad. Candidates with disabilities (PwD/PwBD) eligible for compensatory time will be allowed to write the exam up to 6:20 PM.

All the candidates appearing for the Re-NEET 2026 exam tomorrow will have to undergo mandatory frisking and biometric verification before entering the examination centre.

Reporting Time and Entry Schedule

According to the official notice issued by NTA, the candidates are highly advised to report to their respective allotted examination centres between 11 AM and 1:30 PM.

The entry gates will be closed sharply at 1:30 PM, and therefore, no candidate will be allowed entry into the examination centre under any circumstances.

The candidates should also take the travelling and weather advisories into account to plan the travelling to the examination centre within the given timeline.

Important Documents Required on Exam Day

Candidates appearing for the Re-NEET 2026 examination should carry the following given documents copy for a smooth entry into the examination centres:

  • At least 2 printed copies of the NEET UG 2026 admit card
  • One original valid photo identity proof
  • Two passport-size photographs
  • A transparent water bottle
  • A transparent plastic pouch to protect documents from rain

Diabetic candidates are allowed to carry sugar tablets along with fruits, such as bananas, apples, and oranges, along with a transparent water bottle.

Items Prohibited Inside Examination Centre

Candidates should avoid carrying the items inside the examination centre, given below in the list:

  • Mobile phones and smartwatches
  • Earphones or Bluetooth devices
  • Bags, wallets, or purses
  • Notes, books, or chits
  • Metallic items and heavy jewellery
  • Food items (except diabetic candidates with approval)

Dress Code for Candidates

The candidates are advised to follow the dress code on the exam day, which is given below in the table for both boys and girls:

Along with the enhanced security measures, NTA has also ensured drinking water, sanitation facilities, medical support, wall clocks in the examination room and reliable power backup facilities at the examination centres. In addition, biometric equipment and trained personnel have also been deployed to expedite the verification and entry process.

With re-NEET only hours away, candidates are advised to do a final check of the items to be carried along with them.
