A fire at an elementary school in Tokyo, Japan, triggered an emergency response on Thursday as firefighters and rescue personnel rushed to the scene amid reports that several children remained inside the building during the initial stages of the incident. According to Japanese broadcaster FNN, thick black smoke could be seen billowing from the multi-storey school building. According to the lates information, several children have been reported to have inhaled smoke. Meanwhile, one teacher has been injured.
