The re-examination for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate), known as NEET-UG, is scheduled to be held on Sunday, 21 June 2026. The NEET-UG exam that was earlier conducted on 3 May 2026, was cancelled, after reports of alleged paper leaks emerged. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has since made multiple high-profile arrests across several cities in connection with the paper leak. But beyond the disruption of the academic calendar, it was also reported that some students have died by suicide. The number is said to be as high as 10.
