The controversy began when Himanshu spoke about a date on which he paid Rs 370 for a plate of chicken biryani and suggested he deserved a “return” on that investment. Following the backlash, Himanshu apologised and deleted his social media accounts. Pranit More also issued a statement, saying that the audience member’s comments did not reflect his views.
