Standard warranty covers 3 years or 36,000 km, whichever comes first, and can be extended all the way to 10 years total through Honda’s paid extended warranty programme. Free services fall at 750–1,000 km, 5,500–6,000 km and 11,500–12,000 km, with paid services every 6,000 km or 6 months after that. Honda recommends 10W30 MA grade engine oil. The one thing to keep in mind: normal wear items — brake pads, drive belt, tyres, air filter — are not covered under warranty. These are consumables that you’ll be paying for out of pocket, so it’s worth factoring those service costs into your total cost of ownership calculation before finalising the purchase.
