CBSE Issues Final Reminder: Class 12 Re-evaluation, Verification Window Closes Today

cbse issues final reminder: class 12 re-evaluation, verification window closes today

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has reminded Class 12 students that June 7, 2026, is the final day to apply for post-result services, including Verification of Issues Observed and Re-evaluation of Answers.

Students seeking a review of their answer scripts must complete the application process through the official post-result services portal before the deadline. The board has stated that the portal will remain open until 11:59 PM on June 7, after which no further applications will be accepted.

CBSE announced the Class 12 board examination results earlier this year, following which eligible students were given the opportunity to access copies of their evaluated answer books and subsequently apply for verification or re-evaluation if they identified any discrepancies.

The board has advised candidates not to delay the process until the last minute, as heavy traffic on the portal could lead to technical difficulties. Students are encouraged to carefully review the eligibility requirements and ensure that all necessary details are entered correctly before submitting their applications.

Verification of Issues Observed allows students to report and seek a review of specific concerns noticed in their evaluated answer scripts. The re-evaluation process, meanwhile, enables a fresh assessment of particular answers for which a student believes marks may not have been awarded appropriately.

Any changes resulting from the review process will be reflected in the final marks issued by the board. Students are advised to keep a copy of the application form and payment receipt for future reference.

How to Apply for CBSE Verification and Re-evaluation

CBSE students can follow these steps to submit their applications:

  1. Visit the official CBSE post-result services portal.
  2. Log in using the required credentials, including roll number and other examination details.
  3. Select the service required: Verification of Issues Observed or Re-evaluation of Answers.
  4. Choose the subject(s) and question(s) for which the application is being made, wherever applicable.
  5. Pay the prescribed fee through the online payment gateway.
  6. Submit the application and download the confirmation page for records.

With the deadline ending at 11:59 PM on June 7, students who intend to apply for either service should complete the process at the earliest to avoid missing the opportunity.
