A fire broke out in a battery room on the third floor of a five-storey office building in Greater Kailash-I (GK-1), South Delhi, early Friday morning, triggering a swift emergency response, according to officials. The incident was reported around the early hours when smoke was first detected emanating from the third-floor battery storage area of the building. Fire tenders were rushed to the spot, and firefighters launched an operation to prevent the blaze from spreading to other floors of the commercial complex.
