The makers of Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai got a last-minute relief as the vacation bench of the Bombay High Court refused to stay its release. Puja Films has approached the court with urgent orders to stall the June 5 release of the romantic comedy amid the ongoing legal battle over the copyright of Chunnari Chunnari and Ishq Sona Hai songs. Justice Farhan P Dubash did not grant immediately relief to the Vashu Bhagnani-owned production house. Advocate Neha Bhavsar appeared for Puja Entertainment, whereas Senior Advocate Ravi Kadam, along with advocates Hiren Kamod, Rohan Kadam, Ayaz Bilawala and Dhanashree Gaikaiwari, represented Tips. Senior Advocate Ashish Kamat and advocates Ameet Naik, Madhu Gadodia, Vivek Dwivedi, Jasmeet Kaur and Fatima Ali were present in court on behalf of David Dhawan.
