With 57.5% of the expected vote counted, Hilton leads the field with 1,386,966 votes (27.8%), followed by Becerra with 1,267,070 votes (25.4%). Billionaire investor and climate activist Tom Steyer trails in third place with 979,007 votes (19.6%), leaving him well behind the top two contenders despite remaining ballots yet to be counted.
