The Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), Delhi has announced that the university will be conducting offline counselling for admission to IP University’s Lateral Entry to BTech programme (for BSc Graduates). As per the schedule released by IP University, the offline counselling will be held on June 5 at the Dwarka Campus.
On the same day, after verification of necessary documents, seats will also be allotted on the basis of merit. All successful candidates of the entrance examination conducted for this programme can participate in this counselling.
On the day of counselling, candidates must bring a bank draft of Rs 96,000 issued in favour of the Registrar, University, four passport-size photographs, CET admit card and rank card, duly filled online form, date of birth certificate, etc.
After seat allotment, the allotment can be cancelled up to June 8. The second counselling for admission to this programme will be held on June 9.

- June 5, 2026 – First Round of Counselling
- Offline counselling at the Dwarka campus for BTech Lateral Entry candidates.
- Document verification and merit-based seat allotment will be conducted on the same day.
- June 8, 2026 – Last Date to Cancel Allotted Seats (Round 1)
- Candidates who wish to withdraw their admission can do so by this date.
- June 9, 2026 – Second Round of Counselling
- Counselling for remaining vacant seats.
- The process will be conducted as per the university’s notified schedule and guidelines.
With the first counselling for this programme, having code 129, the University is initiating the counselling process for admissions in the new session.

With counselling for the BTech programme now underway, IP University has officially kicked off its admission process for the new academic session, with counselling for other courses set to follow in the coming weeks.
