Hilde Lynn Helphenstein, the curator and art-world commentator who gained a large online following under the pseudonym Jerry Gogosian, has died at the age of 40. Police in Brazil have opened an investigation into the circumstances of her death. Helphenstein was found dead in her room at the Rosewood São Paulo hotel, a luxury property in the Bela Vista district of Brazil’s largest city, on Sunday, according to Brazilian media reports.
