Bollywood producer Vashu Bhagnani has been in the headlines amid his feud with the makers of Varun Dhawan and David Dhawan’s upcoming film Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai. Amid their public tussle, a report claimed that he is likely to be sued by PVR Inox Pictures over a reported Rs 100 crore three-film deal. As per an unverified source, PVR Inox Ltd’s distribution arm had entered into an understanding with Puja Entertainment for films including Mission Raniganj, Ganapath and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, with around Rs 100 crore reportedly paid as a refundable advance. The report further claimed that the underperformance of the films triggered a refund clause and that Bhagnani had failed to pay the alleged outstanding amount of Rs 100 crore despite repeated follow-ups. However, PVR Inox Pictures has issued a statement denying these claims.
