The KTM RC 200 is quite popular among young racing enthusiasts in India. The supersport offers a chance to experience track-focused performance, KTM’s MotoGP machine-inspired styling, and a high-revving power delivery without stretching the budget. KTM RC 200 Design

The KTM RC 200 features aerodynamic bodywork inspired by KTM’s MotoGP machines. It comes with an aggressive front fairing, sharp body panels, a sporty riding posture, a split-style seat, clip-on handlebars (height adjustable up to 10mm), and a beefy fuel tank. Riding on alloy wheels, the fully-faired design helps the motorcycle stand out in the entry-level performance segment.

The power source of the entry-level supersport is a 199.5cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC fuel-injected engine that produces 24.66hp of power at 10,000rpm and 19.2Nm of torque at 8,000rpm, and is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The RC 200 is being updated with a 40% larger airbox and revised engine mapping that results in improved throttle response as well as seamless power delivery. As for mileage, the KTM RC 200 has a claimed fuel efficiency figure of around 43.5km/l.

The KTM RC 200 has a split-trellis frame and bolt-on subframe, suspended by 43mm WP APEX USD front forks and a 10-step adjustable WP APEX monoshock at the rear. Stopping power comes from a 320mm front disc with a radially mounted calliper and a 230mm rear disc with a floating calliper, supported by Supermoto ABS.

The RC 200 also gets a fuel tank of 13.7 litres, ground clearance of 158mm, and a seat height of 835mm. It weighs 160 kg. Other highlights include a 5-inch TFT display and an LED headlamp. KTM has also focused on rider ergonomics with adjustable handlebars that allow riders to switch between a more comfortable street riding position and a sportier track-focused setup.
