Jai Hind At The Red Fort
Starting today, September 25, and running till October 15, the Red Fort is hosting its new sound and light show, Jai Hind. This is not your typical light show with a voiceover – it uses projection mapping, live films, actors, dancers, and puppets to tell the story of the fort and the country, starting from 1648 right up to today. Expect scenes covering the power struggle between Dara Shikoh and Aurangzeb, Nader Shah’s invasion of the city, the Marathas taking charge of the fort, the 1857 uprising, the Indian National Army and its trials, and finally, the freedom movement and the decades since.
