Multiple people were injured after a shooting in South Los Angeles on Monday, with three confirmed victims being taken from an apartment complex, according to scanner reports.
The Los Angeles Police Department responded to reports of a shooting in the 7000 block of Denver Avenue, near the intersection of S. Figueroa Street and W. Florence Avenue, in the Vermont-Slauson area at around 10:50 AM.
Two suspects reportedly ran to the top floors of the apartment complex and were later taken into custody, according to scanner reports.
Police were continuing to secure the scene as the investigation remained underway.
