White House Torches Iran Peace Deal Leak, Calls Hormuz Reopening Report ‘Fake’

According to Iranian state television, the proposed framework envisioned restoring commercial shipping through the Strait of Hormuz to pre-conflict levels within 30 days. In return, the United States would reduce its military presence around Iran and lift what Tehran described as a naval blockade. The report also claimed military vessels would be excluded from the arrangement, while Iran would manage maritime traffic through the strait in coordination with Oman. Tehran, it said, would move forward only after receiving “tangible verification” of the agreed measures.
