Kia Sorento Expected Engine Options
If Kia decides to bring the Sorento to our market, the SUV could arrive with a turbo-petrol or hybrid powertrain. Internationally, the Sorento is offered with multiple engine choices, including a 1.6-litre turbo-hybrid, a 2.5-litre petrol and diesel options depending on the market. Currently, there is no information, but Kia may opt for a downsised turbo-petrol engine mated to an automatic gearbox to suit local taxation and fuel-efficiency demands. An all-wheel-drive system could also be available for top-spec models.
