A US Army MH-60 Black Hawk helicopter was involved in an aviation mishap during a routine training operation near Denver, Colorado, on August 25. The helicopter, which belongs to the Army’s 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment based at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, made an apparently unplanned landing in a wooded area in the Colorado foothills west of Denver.
