Donald Trump, ever since India paused Operation Sindoor, has claimed on several public occasions that it was him who mediated and stopped India-Pakistan fighting, trying to claim the credit. However, India has officially and repeatedly maintained that the decision to halt the fighting was solely taken on Pakistan’s request, after Indian armed forces pounded them heavily during Operation Sindoor.
