Kuku Kohli was one of the most famous film directors of the 1990s and early 2000s. He directed Ajay Devgn’s debut film, Phool Aur Kaante (1991). The film turned out to be a massive box-office hit and brought Kuku recognition in the industry. He later directed films such as Kohraam, Suhaag, Haqeeqat, Zulmi, Anari No. 1, Yeh Dil Aashiqanaa, and Woh Tera Naam Tha.
