Akshay Kumar is stepping into an entirely new cinematic world with Samuk, an ambitious alien action thriller that combines survival, military action and creature mythology. The actor has officially begun filming the project and introduced his character, Vivaan Ahuja, with a stylish first look. Backed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah and directed by Kanishk Varma, Samuk is being mounted as a large-scale pan-Indian theatrical spectacle with an international team of creature and action experts. The makers are promising a genre unlike anything Akshay has attempted before.
