Alcaraz will enter the tournament as one of the favourites to win the title. He’s been doing well at the training sessions, but it’s nowhere near the load the wrist will take during the US Open, where the conditions will be brutal, to say the least. He may find his rhythm as the tournament progresses, but how well his wrist holds up could well decide if he can defend his title.
