BMW has launched the X1 Long Wheelbase (LWB) in India at Rs 49.90 lakh (ex-showroom) with the biggest change being the extra space at the back. The new version gets a 108mm longer wheelbase than the standard X1, taking it to 2,800mm. For buyers who regularly carry family members in the rear, this is the main difference to look at. The X1 LWB is 4,616mm long and 1,641mm tal while its width stands at 2,104mm. It gets a turbo-petrol engine which puts out 156 hp of maximum power and 230 Nm of peak torque along with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic.
