Prichard Colon’s decade long fight is over. The former boxer, who never regained consciousness after a brutal 2015 bout, has died at age 33. Colon was 23 and building a solid record, 16 wins against just 1 loss, with 13 knockouts, when he stepped into the ring against Terrel Williams in October 2015. Something went badly wrong. He suffered a severe brain hemorrhage during the fight and was rushed into emergency surgery just to keep him alive. He didn’t wake up for 221 days.
