The programme has been introduced by the university in accordance with the applicable UGC notification and as part of IGNOU’s efforts to advance the vision of NEP 2020 in higher education.

According to the official notification previously released by UGC, colleges or universities that are already recognised or entitled by the UGC to offer a two-year PG programme may offer a one-year PG programme in the same discipline.

Candidates who are interested in these programmes are advised to check the eligibility requirements and admission-related details carefully through IGNOU’s official admission portal before applying.
