One of the biggest concerns with dengue is that a person’s condition can sometimes worsen around the time the fever starts to come down. Warning signs of severe dengue include persistent vomiting, severe abdominal pain, bleeding from the nose or gums, blood in vomit or stool, unusual drowsiness or restlessness, breathing difficulties and extreme weakness.
