Pradeep Rawat played one of the very few antagonists in Bollywood whose character name was turned into the title of the movie. Such was his aura that when he appeared on the big screen as Ghajini, the audience felt a chill down their spine. He was the ultimate villain who was brutal, menacing, and conniving. As Ghajini Dharmatma, he turned the love story of Aamir Khan’s Sanjay Singhania and Asin’s Kalpana into an incomplete tale of heartbreak with a tearjerking ending. It won’t be wrong to say that he overpowered everyone else in the movie, Aamir included. But this wasn’t the first time Rawat’s towering personality took a major portion of the screen. He was Deva, the Sardar man who gave the much-needed physical and mental strength to the village squad in Lagaan.
