Vodafone Idea (Vi) has introduced three new recharge plans that bundle Spotify Premium at no additional cost. The telecom company is aiming to attract music lovers by combining premium audio streaming with regular telecom benefits such as data, unlimited calling and SMS. Depending on the plan you choose, you also get access to OTT platforms and other entertainment perks. Here’s everything you need to know about Vi’s new prepaid plans with Spotify Premium and what each one offers.
Vi’s New Spotify Premium Plans Explained
The Airtel rival has introduced three prepaid recharge options priced at Rs 435, Rs 250 and Rs 230, with all three carrying a 28-day validity.
The Rs 435 Non-Stop Hero plan offers unlimited 4G/5G data, unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS per day, access to JioHotstar (Mobile), and a complimentary Spotify Premium subscription for the duration of the recharge.
Interested customers looking for a lower-priced option can consider the Rs 250 prepaid plan, which includes 2GB of data, unlimited voice calls, 300 SMS and Spotify Premium for 28 days.
Lastly, the Rs 230 recharge focuses more on entertainment. Besides Spotify Premium, the plan offers 30GB of high-speed data and access to more than 20 OTT platforms, including JioHotstar, ZEE5, SonyLIV, FanCode and Lionsgate Play.
How To Claim Spotify Premium
Vi says eligible subscribers can activate their Spotify Premium subscription directly through the Vi app. After completing an eligible recharge, users need to open the app, visit the “Claim Benefits” section under active services and select the Spotify Premium offer.
From there, users can either log in with an existing Spotify account or create a new one to activate the subscription. Once enabled, Spotify Premium provides ad-free music streaming, offline downloads and high-quality audio playback.
The telecom giant has also confirmed that the Spotify Premium subscription remains linked to the recharge validity. To continue enjoying the benefit after 28 days, users will need to recharge again with an eligible Vi prepaid plan.
