Replying to a question raised in the parliament, Joshi said the apex court, while disposing of review petitions on May 29, 2026, has granted the teachers an additional year to obtain and meet the minimum qualification required for appointment under the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education (RTE) Act, 2009.
