NEET 2026: Doctors' Bodies Welcome MCC Counselling Reforms, Seek 'One Nation, One Counselling'

Speaking to ANI, IMA President Dr Anil Kumar Nayak said, “I express my gratitude and appreciation to Health Minister JP Nadda for initiating a transparent, technology-driven, and student-friendly admission process for the NEET-UG 2026 counselling. The use of modern online technology will bring transparency to the admission process, marking the first time such a tech-savvy approach is being implemented… This transparency ensures fairness, allowing everyone to see seat availability and allocation details. I commend JP Nadda for this decision; it addresses the difficulties students previously faced regarding fee payments and the lengthy admission process, which used to drag on for 5–6 months. This tech-savvy, transparent system will greatly benefit every student, ensuring they can secure admission to their preferred institutions…”
