Ryan ten Doeschate has quit as India’s assistant coach following the forgettable UK tour. India kicked off the tour with back-to-back defeats against Ireland in the two-match T20I series. The Shreyas Iyer-led side lost the five-match T20I series against England 4-0. The first game of the series was washed out due to rain. After losing the T20I series, India kicked off the three-match ODI series with a win. But the Men in Blue lost the next two games to lose the series 2-1.
