Siddaramaiah, in a post on X, wrote “Since the political field has become corrupted today, I will not contest in the 2028 assembly elections. However, I am remaining active in politics.” He also said that people from his constituency have been pressing him to contest once again, however he feels it wouldn’t be the right thing to do.
