Group B was far busier. Dallas Flash, fresh off their title-winning run in San Diego, opened with a statement, a clean 4-0 win over the Las Vegas Night Owls. Chicago Slice, playing in front of a home crowd, backed that up with a 3-2 win over the Atlanta Bouncers. Atlanta had earlier beaten Utah Black Diamonds 4-0, meaning they ended the day with a 1-1 split. Las Vegas also finished 1-1, bouncing back from their loss to Dallas with a 3-2 win over SoCal Hard Eights.
