An offical release from IIM Calcutta revealed that as part of the research, the team conducted “extensive interactions with key leaders associated with the campaign, including Shri Sunil Bansal, BJP’s election in-charge for West Bengal; Shri Samik Bhattacharya, State President, BJP West Bengal; and Shri Sukanta Majumdar, former State President. The research team is also attempting to interact with Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah and Chief Minister of West Bengal Shri Suvendu Adhikari to gain additional perspectives.”
