The Bharatiya Janata Party has alleged that posts in the Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) recruitment for veterinary officers were being offered through middlemen for as much as Rs 80 lakh. In a post on its official X handle, the party said that after results were declared, more than 50 candidates approached the police alleging “irregularities, bribery and manipulation”, and want the recruitment cancelled and held afresh. The BJP also pointed to a recording circulating on social media that it claims shows jobs being offered for money.
