The veteran actor from the Malayalam industry took to social media to share a short note about the protests which have taken place in several major cities across the nation, including the capital, New Delhi, and its financial centre, Mumbai. Mammootty’s son, actor Dulquer Salmaan, had posted about the protest on July 22, 2026, joining many others from the Malayalam film industry who were sharing their support for the youngsters.
