The judgment was announced on Wednesday (May 20) by a special fast-track court in Sonipat, Haryana. The accused was found guilty by the court on May 15. Additional Sessions Judge Narendra Singh announced the sentence as per the provisions of the POSCO Act. Apart from five years of rigorous imprisonment, Kuldeep will also have to pay a fine of ₹15,000 rupees.
