Re-NEET 2026 Result Highlights: NTA Says Most OMR Complaints Involve Digitally Altered Sheets; Warns of Legal Action

Re-NEET 2026 Result Highlights: Amid complaints pertaining to mark discrepancies and OMR mismatches, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has stated that it is ‘closely monitoring and scrutinising’ all of them. The agency also said that most OMRs submitted for review were forged and digitally altered, warning the complainants of legal consequences for such practices.

NTA is currently posting individual updates for those who submitted ‘digitally altered’ versions of their OMRs for review.

What Sparked the Online Discussion?

The issue arose when the Indian National Congress (INC) posted a tweet sharing a video of a father alleging that his son’s answer script had been ‘changed’ and belonged to someone else.

Taking a jibe at the agency over frequent debacles, the opposition said, “NTA is proving to be a failure at every level, but the shamelessness is such that Dharmendra Pradhan, responsible for all this, is clinging to his chair.”

Later, NTA took to its X handle to clarify the matter and caution offenders about legal action.
