Shakira, who performed during the half-time show, wore a custom Roberto Cavalli look by Fausto Puglisi. According to the Italian luxury fashion house, the dress was embellished with more than 200,000 Swarovski crystals. The brand stated: “The custom look features a two-piece set in the exclusive Ray of Sunset print, developed for Shakira in golden-hour hues with vibrant pink accents and inspired by Roberto Cavalli’s iconic Ray of Gold motif. The look combines a bodysuit with a deep criss-cross neckline and side cut-outs with a skirt draped using the moulage technique. Embroidered and fringed satin chiffon strips in the Ray of Sunset print and vibrant pink move fluidly throughout the choreography.”

The Swarovski crystals were hand embroidered, while the bodysuit required more than 120 hours of embroidery and two weeks of meticulous craftsmanship. The result was a luminous gradient of pink, orange and citrine.
South Korean actress Jung Ho-yeon, known for her role in *Squid Game*, joined Spanish tennis star Carlos Alcaraz as they carried the FIFA World Cup 2026 trophy in a Louis Vuitton trunk. For the occasion, Ho-yeon wore a vibrant red Louis Vuitton dress from the Resort 2027 collection. Alcaraz, who is also a Louis Vuitton ambassador, opted for a smart casual look featuring a beige jacket and matching trousers worn over a crisp white button-down shirt.
The First Lady of the United States (FLOTUS), who has consistently favoured American labels, wore a Thom Browne bomber jacket paired with Ralph Lauren trousers. She completed the look with a white Gap T-shirt and oversized sunglasses.
Spain’s King Felipe and Queen Letizia travelled to the US to cheer on their national team. Letizia embraced the Spanish colours in a red dress that matched the team’s jerseys, while King Felipe opted for a sharp black suit paired with a red tie.
The couple were joined by their daughters, Leonor, Princess of Asturias and heir to the Spanish throne, and Infanta Sofía. Leonor wore red trousers paired with a white cinched shirt, while Infanta Sofía opted for a red shirt with khaki trousers.
The snaps were shared on the official Instagram account of Casa Real. The post was captioned in Spanish, which translates to:

Madonna wore a look created by Anthony Vaccarello for Saint Laurent in collaboration with Swarovski for her half-time performance. According to Vogue, the performance outfit was inspired by paparazzi photographs of Madonna’s workout looks from the 1990s and early 2000s. Her ensemble featured a sheer pink lace corset, silk bloomers, oversized football socks and custom goalkeeper gloves embellished with Swarovski crystals.
The football may have made history, but the fashion ensured the FIFA World Cup final was every bit as memorable off the pitch as it was on it.
