India’s private space sector is preparing for one of its biggest milestones yet, Hyderabad-based unicorn, Skyroot Aerospace, is all set to launch Vikram-1, the country’s first privately developed orbital-class rocket, from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC-SHAR), Sriharikota, on July 18 at 11:30 am. Named Mission Aagaman, the launch will be the first attempt by a private Indian company to place a rocket into orbit from Indian soil.
