In his first comment after holding talks with Congress leadership, DKS said, “We have come here for cabinet expansion and we have held discussions. They have told me what needs to be told.” The two leaders had met the Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, at his residence in Delhi and also held talks with Congress in-charge for the state, Randeep Surjewala. CM Shivakumar confirmed that the meeting was not attended by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge as he had to leave for Karnataka urgently.
