Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt registered their marriage in an intimate ceremony on July 5. Soon after their special day, the Bollywood superstar travelled to London to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Lagaan. But now, almost ten days after the wedding, the actor has landed in the middle of a controversy. A fatwa has reportedly been issued against Aamir Khan by Maulana Ibrahim Hussain, the Shahi Chief Mufti of the Muslim Personal Darul Ifta. The objection is not only over this being Aamir’s third marriage but also because Gauri Spratt is not a Muslim.
