British Airways took the moment to share a tongue-in-cheek video to their Instagram stories, showing them deleting the Norwegian banner from their photos – seeing as they now didn’t need to change their logo for the day. Norwegian too, kept their end of the bargain, changing their logo to British Airways’. The airline latter shared a screenshot of the gesture, writing: “We’ve got the receipts! The speedmarque looks good on you @flynorwegian.” The handles for both airlines shared a series of posts and congratulatory messages for the winning team, toasting to the players – and this super random new found friendship.
