The designing of these towels begin around 18 months before the tournament, with Christy’s design team studying seasonal colour palettes, design movements, and the latest trends. According to reports, each towel takes around seven days to get ready. This year’s Wimbledon towel comes in the tournament’s traditional green colour with purple stripes. Another version is strawberry-coloured, inspired by Wimbledon’s famous strawberries and cream.
