As per Mathrubhumi, the complaint was filed by a Thazhakara native who is currently working in Mumbai. According to the complaint, Vinayakan allegedly shared a photograph of the complainant’s minor daughter on Facebook without permission. The complainant claimed that he had earlier shared a Facebook post related to the actor through WhatsApp, following which Vinayakan allegedly uploaded a screenshot featuring his WhatsApp profile picture, which featured his eight-year-old daughter.
