The sharp fall came after the USA and Portugal were knocked out of the tournament. USA lost 1-4 to Belgium while Portugal suffered a 1-0 defeat to Spain, which also ended Cristiano Ronaldo’s World Cup campaign. Fans were hoping to see the blockbuster quarterfinal between the USA and Portugal, but that was not the case.
