In 2019, an edition of the Sac Bijou Birkin featuring black garnets and spinels was released. In 2024, Hermès released the Sac Bijou Rainbow, a rainbow-coloured version crafted in white gold and set with diamonds, yellow, blue and pink sapphires, spessartite garnets, aquamarines, and amethysts.
