The steering wheel in this specific test mule is the same two-spoke unit used on the BE 6 electric SUV — not the wheel seen in earlier ICE test mules of the Vision S. This matters because the NU_IQ platform the Vision S is built on is multi-energy by design and supports petrol, diesel, hybrid and electric powertrains. An electric Vision S would be significant: it would be the first Mahindra EV not to use the INGLO skateboard platform that underpins the BE 6, XEV 9e and XEV 9S.
